Carlos Javier Taranilla de la Varga, born in León (1956), holds a degree in Geography and History and specialized in Art History from the University of Oviedo (1978).
An expert in art and history, for thirty-five years he has worked as a professor of this discipline in different schools. He has published more than twenty books on art and history characterized by a didactic and informative tone, combined with the necessary rigor to make his works essential titles. Among all his work, it is worth mentioning the collection Breve historia del Arte, consisting of 12 volumes and published by Ediciones Nowtilus.
